Norman
Cohn is chairman of the Cohn Family Trust (CF Ventures).
The year 2003 is the Cohn Family Trust's 100th
Anniversary. In 1950, Norman, with
his father, began
acquiring companies in trouble, primarily failing divisions of Fortune
1000 companies. Norman over the years, with his children, has also
owned and operated companies in numerous industries.
Approximately 25
years ago the Cohn Family decided to change from buying companies
in trouble to investing in business–to–business
publishing
in a variety of mediums, including CD–ROM, computer, Internet,
as well as more traditional print, and tradeshows.
Today this group of activities, is one of the largest privately–owned
business–to–business multimedia publishers.
